I solemnly swear that I am up to... something great ;)

2010. I have probably received more strange looks in this past year than any other, and that is saying something. It has been so wonderful in so many ways and also one of the most difficult for me as well. I haven't been at school. I decided to take a little hiatus and get my life together financially, emotionally, and for health reasons. I am now working a total of nearly 60 hours a week. Being home again and for so long was completely unexpected by me, my parents, and my close friends and family. And if only I had a nickel for every time someone asked or thought I was going to BYUI.... (Not to discredit BYUI in any respect at all; it is a fabulous school, but it is not where I personally felt I needed to go. That's another story.) Now, for quite some time, I have been so looking forward to going back and attending classes in Provo Utah.

But I'm not going.

Part of me is really quite sad about it. I'm going to miss my friends, and I had some classes I was really looking forward to taking. However, not quite a month ago, I had a very unique experience. Definitely a life-changing experience. To give you all the plain and simple, sweet and beautiful truth:

I AM GOING ON A MISSION!!! I have turned in all of my papers, the only thing I have left is an interview with my stake president and then it's all off to Salt Lake and I am hoping to have my call within the next three weeks!

Just thought you should know :)
